It generally has VF details, but the wear on the shield lines, hands, and cap are more than I would expect for VF. Nice dime! This is one of my favorite Seated dimes: very clean design, first year for the New Orleans mint, and low mintage. Report this Post to the Staff

If it is the coin I would worry that it had some kind of enviro damage, if it is just the pic I would go with a low VF call it VF-20. In comparison to others I have looked at TPG graded at the same grade this one has better detail, I too enjoy the simple beauty of this design. This date/mm combination is also much more difficult to come by than a '37-P issue. The main jump in value is between Fine and Very Fine. I am confident this coin meet expectations for the VF grade, Liberty is especially bold compared to others I looked at graded the same. Report this Post to the Staff
