Mine is a 2009 penny, the front is a brilliant sparkling copper colour, and hte back of it is the colour of a dime. The diameter is the same as a penny but the width of the coin reminds me of a dime. I'm going to bring it to a local dealer to get his opinion. regardless I'm goign to keep it, it's a pretty neat effect Report this Post to the Staff
D Pillar of the Community Canada 899 Posts	Posted 04/08/2010 3:07 pm Not an error...there are many factors which influnence toning of which a few are: sulphur in air, storage in certain types of paper or certain types of material etc. I found these in the same roll all 2008's and all different colors and none close to the normal penny color..Cool Colors...
