Just picked these bills up from my local coin shop. Excited about the "double faced" and "ink smear" notes. They had allot of gutter folds so I'm thinking they are more common and less valuable. Anyone have a good idea to value on any of these? I don't have an error price guide. I checked on google and found a site that said the ink smear and double faced (forget true name for that error) were in the $200-$400 range. I find that hard to believe and I'm looking for a more reasonable value. Any recommendations on a good price guide book?

they are all, worth around $40 to $80

the ink smear is pretty nice so I would say around $70 to $80
my dealer is selling full $1 wet ink transfers for around $40 and that's full and its an older $5 so maybe $100 to $200
and the gutter fold is around $60 to $70

But this is only MY opinion so if I'm wrong, I'm sorry

Thanks, I'm still trying to find the errors with misprinted seals (reversed, upside down, obverse side, etc...) and different serial numbers on same note. What else is out there? Are error notes only found in 90's and earlier?

if you want a mismatched SN, you should be looking for one for upward of 2000

Love that "double face" $5 Lincoln bill! That is so cool!

Can I ask how much is was? And did he have any others?

I can tell you I got a great deal on it. I try to buy at least three errors at a time from my local shop. I just watched a similar note sell on ebay for $275. I paid less than half of that. He didn't have anymore there but I'm going back 2moro to see what new stuff he's gotten.
