I don't think that a large portion of the public yet understands
that collecting this series will
not be 'easy' like the
State Quarters. I just roll my eyes when I see National Parks
Quarters folders at Hobby Lobby...

You won't be 'guaranteed' to be able to just walk into your local
bank and walk out with BU rolls of the current issue National Parks
Quarters at face value. Banks cannot special order these Quarters as
'commemoratives' (as they could do with the State/Territory Quarters),
and the Federal Reserve will fill bank's orders with whatever Quarters
that they happen to have in stock! This means that some of the
National Park Quarters could sit in vaults for several years
before they are finally released for circulation.
This will also affect how coin dealers are able to obtain these Quarters
(or
not, as the case may be!). These Quarters will be like the
2009-2010 Cents, distributed at random, and anyone lucky enough to
get a full bank box of them will run right home and put them on
ebay!
It appears that the Mint's Two Roll P&D Sets will be the most efficient
(and, shockingly, possibly the most
cost-efficient!) way to
complete albums of BU P&D business strike National Parks Quarters.
Those who open the Two Roll Sets should buy extra albums and fill
them with the extra coins! There might actually be some demand on
ebay, etc. in a few years for National Parks albums filled with
business strike Quarters, due to the difficulties of obtaining
these coins at face value.

I'll just pull mine out of circulation...

Good luck with
that,
upstate! The Fed will only
be shipping these Quarters to banks when they run out of circulated
Quarters, which means that you might have better odds of finding a
silver Quarter in your change than a National Parks Quarter.

(and that's just plain
evil...)
