I was searching through a bunch of quarters and came across a token identical in size to a quarter and with same edge milling.

One side has a huge maple leaf and 13 tiny maple leafs around the top edge with "MILLENIUM - MILLENAIRE" on the bottom edge.

The other side has "CANADA 2000" and bird with its wings spread and "Canada Post - Postes Canada" written on the bottom edge.

Anybody have any ideas on this token and number minted.

It is a token that was issued in a commerative millenium flat can for postage stamps. As to mintage - over the moon!

As well it appears in the 1999 quarter set.
