The pictured small gold coin was presented to me some 10 years ago but bears no indication of value . I think it may have been on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Reublic (1998) but can't find it on any of the coin web sites that I have searched . Its diameter is 21mm

I don't have a catalog with me right now, but these coins were minted in the 60s with Kemal Ataturk's head posthumous. Yours is from 1966 (1923+43).
There were 50piastres (3.60g), 100 piasters(7.25g), 250piasters(18.01g) and 500piasters(36.12g). All of them had the exact same design, but the size/weight varried.

At 21mm, yours is a 100 kurush. Listed in the Krause world coin catalogue as KM# 855, at the back of the listing for Turkey with the other "bullion coins". It's .917 fine (22 karat), mintage 56,000, worth more than BV in EF and above.
