Hi all,

What do you make of this 1894o Morgan? I'm looking for one to add to my collection, what would you guys pay for it? and is there something going on with the second L in dollar?

Maybe it's just the pictures, but this coin doesn't look right to me. If it's real I would grade it at F-12. Value @$30.

Is the dark stuff toning, corrosion, or some kind of gunk?

I have to wonder if its real or not,,,,,,there is a lot of wear on the face and reverse with very little wear on the rims,,,,,the first L on the reverse looks to have discoloration, masking the true shape of the letter and can bee seen when its picture is blown up.

I'd guess it's got Fine Details but it's overall condition would net grade to Good. Maybe a $25 to $30 coin. I can't imagine it's counterfeit with the shape it's in and the low value but you never know these days........

The first "L" in Dollar looks like a backward 5 to me.
