Kennedy 1995 Die Crack? - Coin Community Forum

Andere New Member United States 32 Posts	Posted 03/29/2010 6:53 pm Found this in my dad's pocket change- he probably picked it up in 1995 and it's been in his bin of change ever since. It's got a crack half way up the neck that goes from the front of the neck to about 2/3rds the width across. Is this indeed a die crack? Common error? Thanks much! biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 03/29/2010 11:47 pm You have a half dollar with an exceptionally strong strike, it is a normal part of the design but it usually rather indistinct on business strikes. Look at this proof coin and you will see the same neck crease feature. Report this Post to the Staff
