I'd like to hear some opinions. The only thing I am really trying to determine is if the surfaces are original or not. Thanks.

I think it has likely been dipped at one point(most have), but I think it is likely "market acceptable". I see luster traces and no evidence of harsh cleaning. If genuine, it looks solid AU and quite a nice coin in my opinion.

It does look like it was dipped, or cleaned. But I've seen slabbed coins marked as cleaned and it doesn't seem to de-value the coin in anyway.

I agree with Johnny, AU at best.

That's a real easy one to verify authenticity of on Heritage, by the die cracks around the periphery of the reverse. The Chinese are good, but they haven't gotten that good yet. Those are the fine points that they will never duplicate. It's genuine, and it's probably been dipped, but not abraded. The coin's not hairlined. AU55 details is my opinion.

Thanks Chance, I always like hearing a couple opinions before purchasing a coin. I have been looking for one that's in nice shape and not horribly maimed with cleaning. This one fits the requirements.

I nearly didn't voice mine, since I own the coin....but who better to answer the question? I'll snap some more pics of it and post them here in a little while. Those aren't the best pictures I've ever taken.

Yes I know, I'm bidding on it as of now. The pics are fine for me. You don't have to go out of your way for new ones.
Thanks

These don't show anything in the way of mint luster remaining, but these give a better feel for how much surface noise is present, and how much detail remains.
