CJ and gregstempfle thanks for the pics, but I still can't tell the difference between the 1955 cents. Is there any other indicators?

The outside edges of the I in Gratia tucks neatly in between the denticles in small denticles coins. In large denticles coins, the top of the I covers over more than two denticles. If the difference is ambiguous, you likely have 2 versions of the large denticles (in the case of 1948).
