I'll probably over-pay for the 2 roll set thru the mint sooner or later. The way I see it, I know I've done crazier things with the same amount of $ it'll cost me to get these...

I'm waiting for my local bank to get them in. They said they should have them in this next week sometime. My connection will call me when they arrive so I can be one of the first to get a couple rolls.

Im just going to order two sets of the cents just for the heck of it. They'll be neat pieces to have in another twenty or thirty years. Time will certainly tell.

I'll probablly order three Sets of these. It's what I did with the '09 Lincoln Two Roll Sets. And I won't be busting them open, since I have to pay this premium for them ! .. The collectible part of these for me "is" having the intact P&D rolls in U.S. Mint wrapping..... not searching through them to find one shiny single one for my albums. (too expensive to do for "one Cent" at $8.95 per) Otherwise....why not just roll search from the bank for them. They are, afterall, the exact same coin in fact.

Quote: do you guys think this will be a key date coin in the series ? Key as in being one of the lowest mintages in the series? Possibly since the bad economy is still keeping production down. Key as in becoming valuable in the future? No. The only chance these have of significant increase in value is from the fact that all the Zincoln cents tend to rot and become ugly easily. That MIGHT make pristine coins a little more valuable in the future. But as a date/mint they will always be common.

I'll be ordering. Here in Mayberry I just can't expect to find them, much less a whole roll, and then I'd only have P and still need D.

I have already contacted some other dealers and the ones that have them said they are selling them for about $3 a roll at the local shows. Why would someone pay $13.90(shipping included) at the mint for 2 rolls. Just my humble opinion.
