Hello everyone,

During my box search I found these 2 cents. The first is a 1955 with a Die Chip or Gouge on the "E" in LIBERTY? I have been known to be wrong on my diagnosis in the past.

Question-On-1955-And-1944-Wheat-Cent

The second coin is a 1944 Wheat cent with a Die Crack on the reverse next to the S in the motto. Or maybe it is a lamination error?

Question-On-1955-And-1944-Wheat-Cent

As usual. All info and opinions are greatly appreciated.

The 1955 is a die chip that was prevalent in the 1950s and is commonly referred to as a "BIE" Lincoln. There are also a couple other variations- IIB and EIR. The last one is a die crack.

Thank you for the info. At least I was not wrong on them. Maybe I will be incorrect on the next coin.
