Sorry for the poor quality pics. I can not seem to figure out how to reduce the glare on the close up macro shots of Lincoln cents. I adjusted the contrast and brightness a bit to reduce some of the glare. If the coin has dark finish...it is a lot easier. Ahh well...you can still make out the features except for the northern design element between the legs but, its is there.

cladhunter, try putting your coin on a 1/4 inch angle to reduce the glare. Pictures a little fuzzy, but everything seem to be in the right places. I'd say you nailed this one.

I woukld suggest "diffusing" the light, so as to "soften the effect"
