This is one of the coins my buddy let me look at. I think I am just going to buy it, as I do like this VAM what ever it is. He whats 52.00 for it and it is graded at a MS-64, and it looks nicer than all of the 65's he gave me.

I am just going (eye dead) from looking at Morgans. There is also a 1899 O that I think I what. There are also a few older NGC's slabbed at 64's that are very strong possible upgrades. I am done buying this week. But if anyone whats pic's of them just PM me. I do not own them.

It looks after looking at the doubled 82's that it has to be a very early die state if it is a Vam-26 (NOTE) small die gouge under the bow and the (1) looks doubled as well

One more Question not related to this coin on a 1882 O/S Vam-3 is the much over polish normal? This is a last die state Vam-3 by all the PUP's

I'm not yet convinced its VAM 26, the scratch under the bow is not noted, yet a scratch over the bow for 26A is noted,, do you have the polishing bands on the wing up thru states? and in the AMER of america, also flip your coin and see if its rotated 10 degree's

I contacted Alan, he is working on this with Leroy. VAM 66 confirmed. I am posting pic's on VW as they do not have them up. On the main 1902 page there is no mention of it. I also now understand the why its not listed, and that is helpful.

Thanks Again Gene you are a big help.
