It looks very very shiny. Perhaps dipped or polished?

EF? I was thinking MS 64ish polished, but then again, the polishedness(lol) makes it really hard to see through the details

EDIT: I see why, are those areas around the neck and a little bit on the face from acid? it kind of looks like it to me......

I see a lot of traces of wear, and the overall detail doesn't merit an MS grade, in my opinion. Either way, only worth about melt. But you can always look at it as PL.

Because of the harsh polishing I would grade this coin at EF-45.

I personally wouldn't have paid over melt for a common date polished Morgan. I saw a few in a bucket at a recent show. I might call it AU since the hair above the ear and breast feathers don't look very good. Then again it depends how much one would knock the grade down for the cleaning. From what I've seen a cleaning can make grading very much more subjective.

I don't think its worth more than melt with the polishing to such an extent,,when the face looks chrome,,,then the collecting interest goes out the window, unless you just need to fill the hole....

that face DOES look chrome.. I would've said XF, VF+.. it's apparent by the tiny blackish marks that were too hard to rub down.. still, it's a Morgan..
Rest in Peace

EF-45 details(net VF-20) heavily polished imo. As stated, worth about melt.
