So, I'm getting ready to go through the bag that I ordered from the mint and I was thinking about the following process:

1) separate the P's from the D's
2) within each pile of P or D, separate into two piles good/strong strike in one pile, weak strike in another
3) within each strong and weak strike, separate few to little contact marks in one pile and ones with several bag marks in another

If there are gouges, heavy scratches or "teethmarks" in them, I will throw them in the "return to the wild" pile.

I am absolutely lost when trying to grade MS coin and I would like to sell the nicer ones. Is there a "rule of thumb" that I could start with for each pile like:

strong strike/few contacts are MS65+
strong/several marks or weak strike/few marks are MS63'ish?
weak strike/several marks are MS63-

I don't have the time or photo storage (or patience) to post pics, although I could post maybe a few from each pile and get your opinions.

My next question is should I sell the nicer one's and as single P&D sets? Or should I just take 4 from each pile and sell them as rolls?
