Has anyone ever seen an NGC coin graded MS70 Ultra Cameo? If so has anyone ever seen or heard of a first spouse coin being graded MS70 Ultra Cameo? Please let me know, it had been confusing me. Thanks, Joshua

I have a few MS-70/PF-70 Commems but to be Ultra Cameo I think they would have to be proof coins so they would not be MS-70 they would be PF-70's and yes I have seen them before even in the first spouse coins

That is what I thought also, But I found a NGC MS 70 Ultra Cameo Abigail Fillmore and have seen the pics to verify it. Just have no clue as to its value or population.

I think it has to just be mislabeled and is supposed to be PF-70. if you have seen pics you should be able to tell if it was a MS coin or a PF coin by the fields. If it is just mislabeled it holds no premium over a regular MS/PF-70 because they call it a clerical error

Although I've seen NGC designate Mint State coins with Cameo, I've never seen an NGC-slabbed Ultra Cameo business strike. The closest I can think of are some SMS coins, which everybody characterizes as "sorta-Proof" anyways.

I agree with Bryan - almost certainly a clerical error. Furthermore, there's not a single reason to purchase such a coin in either MS- or PF-70 at this moment - they're just hitting the market and going for stupid money.

SuperDave, being the capitalist you are, certainly you would purchase a MS/PF70 coin for 69 money (or less), if you could.
