every letter has these (bumps) what's the reason for them? old die or what? never seen it before.

The die flow lines appear first on the die about the end of the MDS die state. The LDS die states shows them stronger. On the VLDS die state the devices start to wear away the most making the fields/devices flowing together. The deteriation of the die is seen by small particles getting rubbed away on every strike the dies make. In time they look like your coin.
