Sap Moderator Australia 16806 Posts	Posted 04/19/2010 02:57 am Archraz, as Flopbury said in the thread title, it's from Khwarezm - an old khanate of the Russian Empire which seceded during the Russian revolution. It's listed under "Uzbekistan - Khorezm People's Soviet Republic" in my 2006 edition Krause. As for authenticity, it's hard to judge for this series, given that originals are fairly crudely made. Krause lists this coin, KM/Y# 17, only as bronze; this one looks quite brassy in your pics. I don't see anything else that makes me think this is fake. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
