Trying to figure out what this 1984D LMC has on the reverse. The only thing I see on it is what looks to be a split serif on the "R" of America. Any help you all could give me or am I just seeing things.

Not sure jamesd. I see a little MD at the bottoms. The "R" looks similar to what Chuck described to me as striking over pressure causing that ripple effect. I struggle with those sometimes, too.

I'm sure someone will set us straight soon.

Yeah, it makes it look like there is separation, but there's not. Like I said I fall for it a lot, too. But, better safe than sorry!
