What in the world is that? I haven't seen that before. How about cleaned? Or is that the "Wiped with a cotton cloth" grade?

Didn't say I was going to buy it... especially don't buy coins without great images and usually never over a couple hundred unless it's in person. The only thing a slab means to me is I have to be careful removing the coin from it before I chuck it in the recycle bin.
I was just curious if anyone had come across this particular piece of nomenclature and what it's real interpretation is.

Yup. This happened to me with these guys. They gave my Bene a MS-60 w/excesive scratching.Duh? But this slab is 15 years old. I don't think they do that anymore.

I would'nt dream of buying a graded Canadian coin unless it was graded by a Canadian grading company.Period, end of discussion...

I'm too concerned with a receding hairline,I envy someone who has excessive hairline.Sorry. Its the coin not the seller that has this problem.

@ Dollar .... That would shut a lot of doors on decent coins these days. The mistake would be in relying on a TPG grade as gospel to establish price. Especially over the internet. Where I think these auctions and sites come in super handy is establishing clear expectations of value and providing a pulse on how hard some of the super rare coins are to get. Pop reports and mint reports included it's impossible to tell how many are actually available until you look around. If there is only one on ebay and none sold at heritage torex or teletrade etc in the past year, you have to be thinking no one wants to part with one no matter what the price. But if there's a dozen various grades on ebay and a transaction base of 20 via the auction houses, you can bet you can buy one at a decent price for that item. I've also used auction data to help establish in person pricing for similar coins. It's just a research vehicle and a good one if used wisely.
