That mintmark on the 1916-D looks pretty suspicious to me. What do you think?

The seller guarantees it to be authentic, but won't accept returns. I wouldn't touch it.

The mint mark on every raw 16-D looks suspicious to me, so I can't comment on that. :) Quite unfortunate, but the way it is.

I believe the D has been added. The wear of the reverse rim does not match up to the wear (or lack on the bottom)on the D MM.

Sorry, I have to wave the "Fake" flag on this one...

I would say for the 1916 D without authentication is buying trouble. This one will be a hard sell.
