Hello! I'm about to sell on ebay again but when I'm about to upload 27 coin listings fixed price I notice the high computation. until I found out that ebay change fees.

On my own opinion for the new selling fees ebay is only good for buyers..

I think selling fees are higher this time..

I don't see any benefits for sellers...

Other than 100 free >99c insertions per month, not much really. ebay's devolving into a true flea market.

They're trying to draw you in with low insertion fees. Insertion fees are the least of your costs even when they don't have a "deal" going. It's the final value fees and the PayPal fees that'll pick your pockets....

I agree.I will say that if you have many listings and you plan on staying around, get a store. The fees are considerably less with a store if you are gonna stick around. If you are listing coins Ob. and Rev. there is a .15 cent charge for the second pic but if you have a store all pics are free. That doesn't make sense to me as many, many other categories have 2 pics for free. They know how to get US coin guys I guess. If you work the numbers, anything you sell on ebay and use paypal, you will lose about 11%. If you use a store and sell at least 300 bucks a week you will lose 9%.Either way,it's a long way from the old days when ebay got 5%.Guess that's why the are a multi-billion dollar business now.

No, a store is NOT cheaper.

I run a basic store, and I used to pay $.03 cents every 30 days per listing. Now, WITHOUT lowering the cost of the monthly store fee, I am forced to pay $.20 cents every month for my listings.

I hate epay more and more everyday, and will soon be shutting my store down.

Note: ebay Stores sellers aren't eligible for the 100 free insertion fees per month on auction-style listings.

I just found out on ryan olbeys calculator that ebay is taking almost 20% BITE!maybe more... For U.S sellers it goes up to 15-18% but for us Non-US sellers because paypal charge us again if we withdraw... for example if I withdraw 100$ that's 4,300 pesos paypal charge me an amount of 100 Pesos... based on the dollar amount... If the money arrived to my bank they also charged us...

but ebay and Paypal is too much... They are a BIG BIG Crocodile!

No Lafaa, not $0.20. 20% of the total sales price. It really is ridiculous, but since I rarely sell on ebay, it's not very important to me.

Hippie. Now without a store you would be paying .50 to 1.00 per listing, even for stuff under 20 bucks.I worked the numbers man.
And Yes, Baguio was pretty nice when I was there 20..months.........years ago.Love the mountain air in the summer.
It does work out the ebay will get 9% in the U.S. and Playpal will get 1.5% so, if you sell coins as a consignment on this site they are taking 30%.(This will probably be removed in a few minutes.)
But P.S.S. Is there anywhere else that you have the opportunity to have 100,000,000 people to see your stuff?

Yeah! you cannot compare visibility to ebay. nothing even comes close to it. So what can we do but close our eyes and pretend we have a hole in our pocket..

or better yet open your own website and sell there?
