I just took a look at some comparative coin sales between ebay and Wensy. You don't see a lot of multiple bids on Wensy. The fees may be worth it if you get considerably more for the same item on ebay.

Take a look at completed items on both of them for the same coin. I just did for a 1859 VF Canada Large Cent. Wensy had one coin sold with four bids @4.25. ebay had multiple items of many weeks. Some ebay ads were getting $7 to $8. A lot of coins on Wensy sit there with no bids.

With ebay you get a huge audience. If you are selling a fairly esoteric coin you will attract more eyes on ebay. In my opinion you get what you pay for.

Wensy appears to be for common stuff. You see very few PCGS/NGC slabs of pre-64 stuff.

Seems the price the seller puts out is pretty much the "buy it now" price as there are no bidders.

I'm guessing there are way more sellers than buyers!

Good point.I'm about to sell rare imperial russian rubel 1805 with average ebay price 300$ in VF condition. There is some things I hate about ebay.
1.Listings fees
2.One picture(I have to use Paint to combine pics-waste of time)
3.Paypal-because I have account in GBP paypal is giving me THEIR exchange rate plus charge me another 4% and I can do nothing about it.
4.Final value fees-sometimes makes me think that ebay is making more money on item than me.

Some websites in Europe offers final value fee only(Only for sold items)at 4%.You can choose type of payment YOU like.Plenty of buyers and sellers there.I have to give some more thoughts.

valdiman: It's pretty easy to get around that "one photo" problem. Just upload your photos to one of the numerous FREE image hosting sites (I use "Photobucket") and then copy the html code for the photos from the image hosting site to the body of your ad on ebay. Voila! Free photos in your ad.

Thanks for the info. I don't mind buying on ebay, I don't like to list on ebay.
