Fortunately this time I can read Japanese. This is a toekn supposely dated Meiji 43, January 29th. I'm not too sure what it can be, but maybe it was for some kind of token to celebrate wedding parties?

Er... smart of me not telling what Meiji 43 is. It is the Westen equivalent of 1910.

Thanks gxseries, I really do appreciate the help. One of my biggest "peaves" is having non-attributed coins. The research is half the fun, but I hadn't been able to find out anything on some of these coins that I've had for about a year or so. I was fairly certain that it was Japanese by the style of text but that was about as far as I could get. For what it is worth, something seems to have been carved of off the side with the flowers (top center) maybe like it was attached to jewelery at one point in time, although it is 1 3/8" in diameter, that seems a little too big for such an application.

Anyone else have anything to add?
