It appears to have a deer or elk on it, maybe North American? Looks early, but I have no way of knowing the approximate age. It is on a very thin flan and a little larger in diameter than a dime.

It looks like it might be an unissued deer hunting medalet.

If it were issued, I would expect someone's name to be inscribed within the wreath.

It's odd that it's not regular, perhaps indicating that it's hand stamped.
