They seem like one of the more legit "un-searched *" sellers around. Anyone bought anything from them?

I feel very cynical overall about this. The below are my opinions only, I am not slamming this seller in particular, do not read it this way. I am discussing bulk estate clearance in general with no specific target.

My family has been in the estate business for 30 years including live auctions, tax settlement services (chartered accountants) and appraisals, storage and moving etc... I probably see more coins than many small coin dealers. I don't cherry pick either, if it's good it gets cataloged and put in the sale and I bid like everyone else because being honest with your clients leads to more business and greater opportunity.

I can directly say that no one in their right mind would allow a specialist service to sell their stuff by the pound. Not even the government. If you aren't at least good enough to pull the high value items out before clearing a lot you won't get much business at best and at worst the heirs will sue your pants off when they find out what you did. On occasion we receive a mass of coins and they will get sorted into years and sold that way over time as the backlog gets cleared. At least minimal effort on the clients behalf ensures our percentage increases as well.

Considering large volume I would say seeding some bags is the best thing one can do and it's much cheaper than any form of conventional advertising.

When you see these ads always head to toolhaus and check out their neg/neutral feedback and then review the positive feedback to see how rare a big hit really is.

Again, I'm a cynic. If it sounds too good to be true it likely is.

Ugly - I tend to agree with your last comment.
