Picked this up this morning and having a hard time getting past the slanted date. If these pics are good enough I would appreciate some help. Thanks. nlp

1892-0 only shows 2 mm tilted right, one is a far date which yours is not, and VAM 10 appears to match, though I can't see by your photos if there are spikes in the legs.

I don't see them either, yet not many listings for your tilted right MM normal date placement, try checking for doublings of ears letters date and such, perhaps a few more clues are needed..

I kinda like it for VAM-15. The date and mint mark match the Discovery Piece pics at VAMworld.

Quote: though I REALLY HAVE TO Question if thats a far date, its not over very far from normal Agreed, considering the date placement meets the definition of "normal" as defined in the Encyclopedia.

No doubling on the ear at all. I have a VAM 5 for comparison and there is none. when I saw that leaning "O" I thought this was going to be easy. It does look like a twin to date on the VAM15. nlp

I think I will have to go with Daves VAM 15 on this one, Genuine original steel gray coins can be hard to pin point on some years when the date and MM are normal, I think I have a VAM 4A st clash but its very hard to photograph, I may have to send it to someone who can verify it
