I am quite curious how would my raw coin below, a 1786 Carolus III 8 reales be graded by our co-members...

How I wish TPG companies would open a branch here in our country so that we can easily have our coins graded...

Nice coin, I'd grade it at EF-45.

Nice coin. If the weakness of detail in the hair, clasp and clothing is from weak strike then I would say EF also but if that is from wear I would say VF. On the reverse the Plus Ultra is stuck up nice and the coin doesn't appear to have any damage. Can't make a "color" judgement from a photo but all in all a really nice 8. I personally think all the Carlos III 8's are much scarcer in EF and above with no problems than the value guides show. I try to pick up any that I see that are high grade with good eye appeal.

Pandesalapi- Beautiful! That is certainly an EF-45.

Wow thank you guys for the super nice grade, all the while I thought it's only on a VF category because of the weak strike on the 3 fleur de lis at the reverse.
Yes it's true it could be hard to find on an XF detail, though I really wish for a TPG company to put up a branch here in our country. If that time comes, I guess I'll have majority of my coins slabbed.
