It has finally arrived! It's a pretty low grade, but it has a very pleasant and original overall appearance.

VG8 is about right, it may scratch out a VG10 grade. Its a TOUGH date, and you got it at a great price. I really thought both of those up that day would go higher.

Congrats on completing a BEAST of a set with this hidden gem, that will likely continue to be harder and harder to find, even in VG condition.

thanks guys! yeah, I got lucky purchasing it at just a little over book...lol. You'd think I'd had my fill of slqs, but I have another "treasure lot" on the way which I will be sharing soon...:-)

lol...no. though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still looking. There was one lot I saw that had a shot at a dateless 16, but it went way over melt and just wasn't worth the risk imo.

I can't fathom where those guys get 40-50 lots of 40 SLQ's to auction off every month......its crazy. They do the same with Walkers, but you can see 99% of the dates/mm's. I bought 2 lots at melt that had keys in them, and they'll be here this weekend.

Not perfect coins - but acquired at about $7.10 each.
