Interested in hearing a grade and if you think the first C is doubled. Best I could do on the mint mark picture, still working on my picture taking abilities.

Lock on 63, shot at 64. The fields are free of marks ... the only chatter is on the cheek and neck (and it's not too bad).

Yes that is a re-punch on the first 'C'. Your picture taking is above par!

Nice coin, I don't see any signs of wear, but the coin lacks luster and looks dull. I would grade it at MS-63. The C does look doubled at the bottom, but I did not see any other indications that would make this coin VAM-5. SuperDave would be the one to know if it's a VAM.

Thanks SeatedNut, I'm still trying to get the pics a little sharper. I think it has more to do with my setup and keeping the camera completely still.

I think you're right with the VAM-5 echizento, here is a closeup of the date.

With the close-up of the date, I'd say it is VAM-5.
