That's the problem with the 2 cent pieces. The WE just wears off with just a bit of circulation. And the grading then slips into the G range (if you don't have a visable WE).

I have to go with G-6.

I think it is solid VG-8, and a very attractive coin at a decent price.

i have a 2 cent piece (dateless) got from a shop. but id say AU 50

i should check to see if I can see the "WE"... the lighting made it very hard to tell

I will have to say VG-8.
Check that lighting. You may have washed out the 'WE'.
If so, bump 'er up a grade.
Reverse is definitely F-12
