I don't really understand runs, run ranges, run sizes, and total printed. When I entered my serial # for one of my star notes, the following came up.
Denomination $1
Series 2003
Serial Number G04456150*
Run 2
Run Size 3200000
Run Range 03200001 - 06400000
Total Printed 10240000
Gaps None
Month Printed SEPTEMBER 2005
Facility FW
Comments

About the only parts that I understand is denomination, series, serial number, gaps, and month printed. The rest is confusing to me. Please reply

Runs means which series of start notes this was from. The BEP always prints star notes as substitutes for bad notes made during regular production, and this is the second batch of them.

Run range is the range of serial numbers it covered

Run size is the total number of notes that were printed (from serial 3200k to 6400k)

What would total printed mean?
