Well being a cashier, I don't happen to see 60 year old bills going through the register that often, so I held onto this. I'm just curious if it's worth more than face value and if I should hold onto it.

Could be worth a bit over face value, but not much. I'd keep it anyways. It's only 10 bucks, and it is 60 years old!

Series 1950C (Smith Dillon) means it was printed in 1961-1962. "J" means it was printed for the Federal Reserve district of Kansas City. The number of notes printed for this district was 24.12 million $10 notes. Condition appears to be VG-F. Current collector value is $10. A rather uncommon find today.
