I found a link to coppercoins.com here and was wondering if anyone has bought from them. It looks like a decent place and I've read about Charles Daughtrey and have no doubt he knows his cents but there aren't any pics of the coins themselves.

Anyone have an opinion?

Charles is a member of our forum and has been very helpful to our members. He is one of the few people that I would buy from sight-unseen. He isn't on the forum regularly (I'm sure it's because he's so busy) but he stops by and posts when he can.

I have to say he is the most knowledgable person on lincoln cents as any one I have ever seen, and if he says a coin is a specific attribution you can pretty much take it to the bank thats exactly what it is. If you dont beleive any of the posts thus far just hit the search button up top of this page and where it says "search for" put cent and where it says "search by member" type in coppercoins and just read his posts

I agree with bryan and susan, this man is extremely knowledgable in the cents area, and I have received much worthy advice from him concerning my error coins. If the price seems right, I'd say go for it!
Rest in Peace

I went to the ANA site a couple of weeks ago just to check out the annual summer seminar. I had attended a couple of these about 15 years ago and really enjoyed them. I was just curious to see if they were still going on or not. I noticed that Charles Daughtrey is teaching a class there this year (even as we speak; July 8-14). He is teaching digital coin photography this year. I agree that you can't go wrong buying from Coppercoins.

Dealing with coppercoins would be safer than dealing with your bank! You must also keep in mind photos of coins don't mean you will always get the coin in the photo. Nothing is better than "coin in hand" and I can assure you coppercoins will GUARANTEE any and all coins you purchase from him 100% of the time. It doesn't get any better than that nor any safer. I agree with Susan, and the rest of the gang on this one!!! Take it from the Knights that coppercoins is THE place to deal copper!
