does anybaody who lives in oregon know of any good coin stares in or very near portland? I will be there for 6 weeks, and I want to visit at leadt a couple of coin stores.

Hi FYI

Portland is huge !! It will depend on where you will be,Portland is made up of very large suburb cities, with portland actually being a seemingly small part,If you get a chance hit the saturday market (burnside park) waterfront,, but I'm sure that you will find some very good coin shops there .

Just take a look at the phone book for the area your in, Gresham,troutdale,oregon city etc.

YEA!!! I live in portland! There are two great stores in Portland. One is in Beaverton, and is called Beaverton coin and Stamp. The owner is an old guy named Bob, so tell him that Brady sent you and he will treat you real well. ;)
The other is called Colombia Coin. They have just relocated to the East side, so you have to call Qwest to get their new address. I have not been there yet, but the old store was under the same management from an asian family. I hope you enjoy Portland!
