This 1942 Walker was in the last lot as well. It was far better than the one I had - so a nice upgrade at about $7.

Would this pull MS?

That is a great purchase for $7. My gut tells me it isn't MS, but can't really say based on the pics.

Rest in Peace

I think it is likely that this coin has been cleaned. The reason I say that is that there should be a lot of remaining luster in the fields for the details. There is strong luster within the protected areas of the obverse motto, but then it stops abruptly in the fields. This effect from what I've seen is prominent on cleaned AU/BU coins. I'd say AU-55 details, and still a great coin for $7!

You could be right on that - although under magnification, there is no evidence of swirling lines or rubbing. Overall - I was very happy with those lots of Walkers from the same person you get the SLQ's from.
Rest in Peace

I would agree with AU, maybe cleaned, maybe the pics. Agreed that it was a good deal for $7. It may have been dipped if there's no evidence of hairlines, this fooled me a long ago before I knew what to look for in dipped coins.
