93D LMC.

Is this a partial extra column in Bay 1 next to column 2 or part of the original column #2?

I compared this to another 93D and the other 93D doesn't look like this next to column 2.

Opinions welcomed.

Scobby Due:

I did get responses from Mr Piazza and Dr Wiles.

Mr. Piazza (coppercoins) thinks it might possibly be a plating issue but still would like to see the coin in hand as it might also have something else going on in Bay 1 according to him.

Dr Wiles (Coneca) can't tell from the photo's and also would have to see the coin in hand to properly attribute what it might/might not be.

I'll probably be sending the coin out this week.

I'll post any results after that.

Chuck.
