Due to SLQ's seeming to become more popular here on CCF, I decided to post this one for grading. A couple of rim bumps and a cleaning on the reverse bring down the eye appeal but it still is a nice semi-key.

Isn't this a type 1? F-12 details.

Oops sorry, I guess I wasn't paying attention to the keyboard as I typed.

I figured it was a VF-20, due to the relatively strong date and the shield beading being full, although a bit weak in places. The reverse is pretty weak though.

Nice coin - I'd go F15 overall, the reverse and rim bumps bringing it down from VF.

Its much better than the example I have in G4.
Rest in Peace

Lol....yeah, mine is AG-03 at best. I would expect more detail all around for a VF-20, a bold date without merging into the field at the top.. I grade these a bit harder than type 2s because of how well they are struck.
