I couldn't resist bidding on this ebay coin: sold for 99 cents + $1.99 shipping ($2.98). It's not much, but it is better than the one I had before as it has full rims and at least a partial date...

Crazy how that one slid through the cracks. Great price and the date is partial.

Due to junk lots, other pickups, etc., I have 9 extra 1917 Type 1's sitting in 2x2's at home. There are a couple worth keeping, but I'll probably auction the others off soon.
