Picked this up over the weekend as an upgrade to my old 1920S. Thoughts on grade?

Afcop, hard to nail down a grade based on those pics...gonna guess AU53-AU55 range? But I believe that coin received a nice strike.

I agree that this is in the AU range, but I'd broaden it to AU50-AU58 since I really can't tell. Terrific Upgrade!!

Thanks! It was labeled (incorrectly I think) as VF25 on the 2x2 - I paid $40.

I felt it was at least a XF coin to the naked eye, but would place it at AU55 in hand up close. It has some very nice golden toning around the edges that I couldn't pick up in the pics. There is some head detail, but its not FH and it is nearly Full Shield as 3 of the vertical lines are there. I can even see the separation in the 5 toes on the right foot.

I keep watching the 1919D and 1920D auctions skyrocket. Johnny you got a GREAT deal on the one you picked up.
Rest in Peace

I'd venture to say that based on the shield, the coin *was* FH, and is not now because of wear.
