I would personally try to buy at least a date set(save for 1895) of these first, one by one. That way you get to see each coin before you buy it and select the nice ones rather than having the seller choose the dates.

Welcome to the community. Before I'd spend that much money I want to see all the coins I'm buying. You can pick up a date set less the key dates and CC's in BU condition for under $1500. Check out Coin World Magazine they have them listed all the time.

$18.35 for common date G/F/AU Morgans seems high to me, when melt right now is about $14.60 FOR the Morgan dollar ..and for the '21's, $24 is way more than I'd pay, take your time and be selective, build your set/series slowly ...And to the forum

Whoops, guess I didn't make it clear, I meant a Morgan dollar will melt for about $14.60 now, didn't mean the spot price was $14.60

Quote: Keep in mind I will get 8% off the buy it now price. How can you get 8% off. Bing Cashback had ended last time I checked. -------------------------------- I agree with the other posts, you can get a better price when buying bulk Morgans.

Quote:whats a good place to buy Morgan dollars for a resonable price then Anywhere, as long as you know what a reasonable price is for what you're getting. That's not as easy as it seems, though. Using the first linked auction as an example, after the 8% Bing thing we're at 16.88 per coin, which ain't all too bad for a circulated Morgan. Individually. In that kind of bulk, I'd expect a better price. Furthermore, is it being acquired as a bulk investment, or in the interest of collecting? If bulk, the advertised condition is probably too good - bulk silver doesn't need to be AU. If for collecting, how do you know what you're getting? A big pile of VG/F Morgans - likely with a large quantity of date repeats - isn't going to do much for a collection.

Try Coin World advertising, someone like Skyline coins who right now is advertising 20 different Premium BU Morgans with at least 3 different mint marks for $549.00. You can buy a batch of Morgans BU for less than this deal you are looking at. You'll probably get common stuff in this batch and a lot of duplicates not worth putting in a collection. Only buy something like this if you know what coins are in the package unless your looking for melt only. Edgman

with 8% off that's not that bad except for the fact you don't really know what your getting. Works out to $15.42 ea. Tough to buy Morgans for less. Personally I'd be afraid of grtting a bunch of cull duplicates I'd have to unload. Of course with silver on the rize that might not be so hard.
I would definately pass on the roll of 21's
