I have a 1657 xvi skilling dansk with a f an a 3 in middle.. what's is this coin an its value.?

"Dansk" is Danish for "Danish", but that doesn't necessarily mean it comes from Denmark. In 1657, Denmark also owned Norway, and struck coins for there also denominated in "skilling dansk". According to my Krause catalogue, Denmark didn't strike any 16 skilling coins in 1657, but Norway did, so your coin is most likely the Norwegian type.

We'd need to see pics of your actual coin to estimate the value. In "average condition" (Fine) your coin was listed at $60 back in 2003, but it may be worth much more (or much less) than that, depending on it's actual condition.

Denmark or Norway?-not listed in Krausse at least I couldn't find it.

i can not figure out how to get it to post pics... the pic above is not the coin though it kinda looks like the side with the lion but on the reverse there is a f3 on it not that other design
