Hello every one!
This's my first commemorative half dollar.
This one is not rar,but I wanted with it to begin my collection of half dollars.
Could you please grade it?

You must be having trouble posting pictures. It's not easy the first time, but comes easy after that.

The pictures are a bit small but the coin appears to be MS63 to MS64. I will assume there is no "rub" on the high points of the design. With larger pictures it could go higher or lower.

How's that for a non-answer?

If you want to post larger pictures you can upload the originals to photobucket or other photo-hosting site and post the links here. That way there's no size restriction. Caution ... if you make them too large (over 300kb) most folks won't wait for the download.

indeed Lex ....

Your photos are good enough for me to say you have a wonderful but poorly-struck example of a Classic US Silver Commemorative with original surfaces.

With today's gradeflation it would most likely grade MS-63 or MS-64 at a USA TPG.

That said ..... the strike quality on this coin is really poor. Geepers ..... look at the face-line of George Carver ....this coin was so short of material that his image has actual voids in addition to planchet marks.

Read for yourself my recent reply in this sub-forum about the reasons for poor strike quality in this series.

Not to worry ..... this is a nice coin and way better than most of us have.
