Here is the auction link, the pics are too small to authenticate from, either ask for larger high quality photo's or pass on the auction.

I know the pictures are small but I used the enlarge button on the photo/ Then I looked at the S with a magnifying glass.

I tried enlarging the pictures but I just can't tell for certain. I would ask the seller for a clear close up of the date and mintmark as well as the VDB on the reverse. If they are unable/unwilling, I'd move on to the next one.

Did you happen to look at the other two coins the seller has forsale?

He managed to get better photo's of them than He did the Key date high dollar coin , I have to wonder why that would be? The enlarge function on the others actually enlarge the photo, the key date coin stays the same size , too small to authenticate .

either ask for high res photo's or move on, this coin is too risky to buy the way its listed.

NEVER buy a key date coin over the internet, especially on ebay. I'll say it a million times.....NEVER. Before you drop big bucks:

1) See the coin in hand.
2) Make sure you exactly how to authenticate or..
3) Buy a slabbed coin.
