fioti- Ah, I love cents from Hong Kong (they are so under-rated.). It is not quite obvious in your picture, but has this coin been cleaned or is the shine from the holder?

I think is a picture issue, lighting condition. Otherwise, looks EF. Hope is not cleaned.

No, not cleaned. Thats a yellow light behind me. I agree, Archraz, these guys don't get no respect! Just about anything with a mntg. of 5 mil. and 100 yrs. old is worth a few bucks, to me. I also got a Hong Kong dollar that was turned octogonal(?) long ago. Didn't need it but I seem to gravitate towards mutilated things lately.

fioti- Ah, nice to hear that that coin is not cleaned! I would probably say VF-30 on him. Also, would it be possible for you to post a pic of the "octagonal" Hong Kong Dollar?

With his short reign I'm always happy when I score a new Edward coin. Nice find!

When I come across a mangled coin that would fit my collection I'm always tempted but usually put it back with a heavy heart.
