It appears that what you have is a modern reproduction of a Sommer Islands Shilling. I can find no reference to the coins ever being made of gold. They were made from brass (most likely your coin is also) and coated with a silver wash to simulate value, which caused the coins to rapidly deteriorate. Very few are found with smooth surfaces, and genuine coins are very rare. The coins depict the wild hog or boar, so many of which were found on the Island, and the reverse likely shows Sommer's flagship.
Hogge Money (so named because of the pig that appears on the obverses of the coins) was introduced to the Bermuda Islands circa 1616 by Daniel Tuckar, the new Governor of the Bermuda Company.
I have one of these packed away in my tokens/reproductions file. Yours is more accurately cast than mine - which is a terrible reproduction - but your appears to be a very modern reproduction, or perhaps an older one that has been whizzed.
