So I got set up at a great new dump site yesterday.

The Credit union my wife goes through has a coinstar machine. It charges the usual 8.9% but the great part is, If you deposit it directly into a minor's account... they wave the fee and you get 100% of the total!

So needless to say my 2 y/o now has a savings account. LOL

Haha, thats a great deal. No charges? My bank makes me count up all the coins for a dump

That's an interesting rule. You can never start saving too young.

I found tht if you open an acct. while they're too young to appreciate it, by the time teenage rolls around; they are more likely to be contributing themselves. Free- nice!

This sounds like a good plan to me.

Roll dumps are a great way to fund their future.
