A friend of mine was a missionary in Russia in the 90s and got me these. I had them packed away and forgot about them until I recently found them. Thought I'd share some pix here.

What my buddy told me was that they were all worthless because of inflation, except for the 15 kopeck piece. That was the one that the public phones accepted.

In 60's - 80's they were not worthless, you could buy a loaf of bread for 10 kopecks. All these were in circulation, kinda like the US bicentennial quarters. I wish I kept a full set. Guess I was a "Darksider" from the very beginning - I was interested mainly in foreign coins.
