I know its Italian,

Obverse says C.20, 1941 and has the word ITALIA

Reverse has a pic of some dude, says VITT-EM-III and RE-E-IMP



Also found a 1964 Canadian nickel, a couple of Canadian cents and a 1944 wheatie.

most likely a 20 lira, if so it should be about the size of a nickel

The coin is probably KM #75b, 20 centesimi. "Dude" is Vittorio Emanuele III.

Yep - that is it.

I don't seek out "darkside" coins but do keep all of the foreign stuff I find. I have some Korean Won from when I was stationed there in 1989, Turkish Lira, Danish coins from Greenland, Iraqi Dinar, etc., etc. Headed to Germany, Spain and Italy this summer....hopefully I'll find some stuff other than Euro.
